while we stopped to gas up the van, i spied this sweet little church across the street. the cross was made of half logs and there were dark stains running down from where Jesus' hands would have been on His cross. it just kind of touched me, there in the middle of the chaos of gassing up, primitive bathrooms conditions, traffic and crowds of people. Jesus did that for all of us...
cafe/coffee at the border...coffee always makes waiting better...
katie bought at soccer ball at the last border crossing so she had something to do and could play with any kids lingering about... here was a full-on soccer game with the "big" kids. katie came out of the game with a large scrape on her shin and knee...sandals are not the right footwear for soccer.
then.... woohoo!!! we made it into costa rica!!!!!
