travel time again!

The Weides have not traveled too far  from home for a rather long period of time...  Shari has gone to the ocean a few times with Jessie (our own shore along the ocean, our bay by the sea...)

But they have not traveled far from their own beloved home beneath the mountain...

O, they ran off out into the islands for a little island get-away for their anniversary...

O, coffee!! How Shari loves the smell!!

and Shari has gone into the "city", the good-sized college town, the nearest place of any size nearby...

and Shari did run off and ride a ferry to another island to go to her annual craft retreat (can you guess the theme?)

and she took the  train to Portland with her sister to go to

 the 

Women of Faith Conference

 there...

and she and Dale ran off to a tiny yurt village to celebrate their anniversary last year...
But besides these little excursions, there has not been much traveling. Now they are booting up for a mission trip to Costa Rica in July.  So this is a practice run... for blogging. Hopefully you will be updated here on a regular basis... God willing. and based on wifi availability.  More soon...
